A note from the writer . . .

Hello friends,

The final report from the Synod on Synodality has still not officially been released in English, so we will have to be patient a little longer.  

In addition, once it is released, it will take time to read and process. I want to give it the attention it deserves. It is, after all, now part of the official teaching of the Church under Pope Francis and thus is worthy of our time and attention.

Meanwhile as we look forward to Advent and the beginning of a new Church year, I have other things to offer - including some prayers and meditations. 

So please remain patient as we continue on this journey together to becoming a more listening and synodal Church.  A Church that seeks to preach the gospel in new ways at all times and in all places.

Lord God, may our minds be open and our hearts be soft to your Spirit. AMEN
